Jolanta Rousseau received his Ph.D. in 2003 at the University of Orleans and the University of Technology of Kaunas (Lithuania) (eq of Ecole Polytechnique) under supervision of prof. P. Rollin and prof. A. Sackus for her research on the reactivities of 1,3-oxazolidine-2-thiones on saccharididic backbones and synthesis of mimics of biomolecules. She was then appointed as Researcher Teacher at the University of Technology of Kaunas (Lithuania). Her research was based on valorisation of biosourced compounds as precursors in organic synthesis as well as the development of new therapeutic molecules through catalytical way. In 2008 she completed three months of research as a Guest Researcher at the CNRS of Orléans for the recovery of mono-and diglycerols for the preparation of new building blocks for organic chemistry in collaboration with prof. A. Tatibouet and prof. P. Rollin. In 2009 she spent three months in the team of prof. E. Monflier at UCCS Artois on IRENI project for trapping and / or degradation of COV's by native and modified cyclodextrins. In 2010 she joined the team of prof. Rigo and dr. P. Gautret as a Research Engineer for the development of new unsaturated monomers based on biosourced compounds as well as the study on copper catalysis for industrial project. Since December 2010 she was promoted as a Associated Professor at the University of Artois. Her current work concerns the development of organocatalysts based on cyclodextrins.
