
Cécile Binkowski-Machut a obtenu son doctorat en 2005 à l'Université d'Artois sous la direction du professeur E. Monflier au sein du Laboratoire de la Barrière Hémato-Encéphalique. Durant son doctorat elle s'est consacrée à la synthèse de cyclodextrines et de monosaccharides amphiphiles pour étudier la barrière hémato-encéphalique.
Elle a ensuite obtenu un poste d'Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherches (ATER) et a rejoint le L.P.C.I.A.
Elle travaille alors sur la synthèse et la caractérisation de complexes
organométalliques de seconde sphère de coordination.
En 2006 elle est devenue «Maître de Conférences» et a intégré le L.P.C.I.A. devenu UCCS en 2008. Ses recherches sont principalement axées sur l'élaboration et la caractérisation de nouveaux matériaux photocatalytiques pour la dégradation des composés organiques volatils.
