CATALYSIS AND SUPRAMOLECULAR CHEMISTRY

Elaboration of supramolecular bidentate ligands for aqueous organometallic catalysis

We recently showed that the association of a monoamino β-CD and a hydrosoluble phosphine (tBuTPPDS) led to a supramolecular heterobidentate ligand able to coordinate a platinum species. This supramolecular assembly catalyses the hydrogenation of an allylic alcohol in aqueous media [P1].
