 Bastien Léger est né en 1981 à Charleville-Mézières (France). Il a obtenu son doctorat en 2007 à l’Université de Rennes 1 sous la direction du Professeur A. Roucoux (ENSCR) et du Dr H. Olivier-Bourbigou (IFP) pour ses recherches portant sur la synthèse et la stabilisation de nanoparticules de métaux de transition dans des liquides ioniques non aqueux et leur utilisation pour l’hydrogénation de composés oléfiniques et aromatiques. Il a ensuite effectué 2 ans de recherche en qualité d’ATER à l’UCCS Artois sous la direction du Professeur E. Monflier sur la stabilisation de nanoparticules métalliques par des complexes supramoléculaires en phase aqueuse. En 2009, il est nommé Maître de Conférences à l’Université d’Artois pour travailler sur la synthèse de nanoparticules métalliques et leur utilisation en catalyse hétérogène.
