
Hervé Bricout est né
à Maubeuge (France) en 1969. Il a obtenu le grade
de docteur en chimie organique à l'Université
de Lille I en 1997
sous la direction du Professeur A. Mortreux.
Durant sa thèse, il a étudié les propriétés
catalytiques de complexes homogènes du nickel dans
des réactions d'isomérisation et de substitution
impliquant des dérivés allyliques.
Il a ensuite rejoint le laboratoire
L.P.C.I.A., dans le groupe de recherche dirigé par le Professeur Eric Monflier,
puis a été nommé Maître de Conférences
en 1997.
Son travail dans ce groupe concerne
la catalyse biphasique par des
complexes métalliques modifiés par des
phosphines hydrosolubles, en présence de cyclodextrines
comme promoteurs polyvalents :
ces molécules hôtes
jouent, d'une part, un rôle bénéfique
sur le transfert de matière
et la sélectivité en substrat,
mais sont aussi capables de générer
des espèces catalytiques spécifiques.
